Are you in the Netherlands for a short or long period of time and would you – or your kids – like to play badminton? Then visit BC Orion at a club night. Join the beginners or advanced players. The trainers can give instructions in English and almost all members are willing to speak English.
Youth training at different levels
On Mondays from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm, our trainer and enthusiastic members give badminton training to different age/level groups. From approx. 6-7 years.
BC Orion
BC Orion is a badminton club in Enschede for both recreational and competitive badminton. There is room for fun, sportsmanship, performance and learning to play (better) badminton.
Have you never played before or are you that ‘returner’? Come to the recreational training on Monday at 7.30 pm and participate right away! Loan rackets are available.

The home games are on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with an extension until 12:30 p.m. The times of away games depend on the opponent, but always on weekends.
Free play
Youth members are welcome at all free play moments: Monday 7.30-10.30 pm; Wednesday 8.00-10.00 pm; Sunday 10.00-12.00 am.
Youth membership fee
The contribution for youth members is € 19.50 per month + a one-off Badminton League fee of €17.50 upon registration.
Seniors (18+)
Training for recreational players
The training for recreational players is on Mondays from 7.30-8.30 p.m.
Training for league players
Training for league players is on Mondays from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
Free play
You can play freely on Monday 7.30-10.30 pm; Wednesday 8.00-10.00 pm; Sunday 10.00-12.00 am.
Senior membership fee
The membership fee for senior citizens is €22.50 per month + a one-off Badminton League fee of €17.50 upon registration.

Our trainers are qualified and our competition trainer has even played at Olympic level.
Large hall and many playing moments
The Pathmoshal has 9 double fields and 2 single fields. We usually all use them.
Competition teams at various levels
In 2024, our teams play in the 5th to 9th division.
Lots of matches against each other
In free play we often play doubles and try to make balanced teams. When it’s busy and you’re done, you wait at the bank until another field becomes available.

Tijdelijke stop nieuwe jeugdleden
Wij geven graag iedereen de nodige aandacht en ruimte, zodat de kinderen met plezier goed kunnen leren badmintonnen. Momenteel is de toeloop met meer dan 40 jeugdleden zo groot, dat we vol zitten. Daarom hebben we besloten voorlopig geen nieuwe jeugdleden toe te laten. Heb je interesse om in de toekomst mee te komen doen, dan ben je dan van harte welkom! N.B. Als je al een oranje 4-weken formulier hebt ingeleverd, dan kan je natuurlijk gewoon blijven komen!
Temporary stop new youth members
We like to give everyone the attention and space they need so that children can enjoy learning to play badminton well. Currently the influx of more than 40 youth members is so great that we are full. Therefore, we have decided not to admit any new youth members for the time being. If you are interested in joining us in the future, you are most welcome!
